Children with Special Needs are some of the more vulnerable victims to cyber-bullying
Cybersmarties has developed a safe standalone social network specifically for Special Needs Schools which educates positive behaviour, personal online safety and promotes self-esteem. Using behavioural messaging systems and emotional based reporting systems, students with special needs are taught in a practical way about responsible social networking in a fun, interactive and safe environment.
The system is fully monitored by Cyber Referees in and out of school, weekends and holidays.
Cyber Referees report any instance of cyber-bullying and harassment immediately to schools.
Cyber-referees detect potential harassment before it occurs, allowing an educational corrective response.
After School, weekends and holidays, Cyber Referees make judgements on cases of cyber-bullying, following expert codes of practise, temporarily suspending users if necessary and reporting instances back to the school.
Can provide expert advice to Schools on how to deal with instances of cyber-bullying and educate positive behaviour.
Peace of mind for Parents and Teachers that students are educated, protected and fully monitored on a locked down social network both in and out of school.
